Lawrence Stuckey has passed away
The convention chair of a DC area Anime and Gaming convention passed away over the weekend. Unfortunately, we don't really know how he passed away at this point since his wife didn't make mention of it and there is no obituary in a local paper. http://www.tmode.org/ is where the announcement was made.
I will not judge him by the convention he ran last year. He wanted to make a better convention. He is a generous man and by his passing reminds me why I am making an effort to better my health. I don't memorials on Anime USA's forums for me in my 30's or 40's. He was a nice man and had a passion for running a great and different fannish experience. For those who pray, please pray for his family and for those who help run T-mode convention.
