01:56 pm - Anime Boston should rock this year

I have been teasing for the last couple of weeks about Anime Boston, since I am more excited about that con than I was Katsucon. Anime Boston is the second largest anime convention in the Northeast and one of a few conventions that have over 10,000 people in the country. Everybody knows that it is an unofficial 30th Birthday party for me (March 24th is my birthday).

The reason I am excited is that I get some second chances to see some guests that I missed from working cons (Colleen Clinkenbeard among them), but the real reason I am excited is that The Pillows are going to be at Anime Boston. The guys who did the FLCL music. I can't wait to hear them in concert. I had a chance to see The Pillows at ACEN 2005 or 2006, but decided that I didn't want to work a booth.

I just got to remember to get in line early enough to get the autographs I want and to see the Pillows. The Hynes Auditorium is a fabulous place to see an event (those who were at Worldcon 2004 or a past Anime Boston would know). I already have my room full for Anime Boston. This is one of those rare times a musical guest makes me go wow instead of huh.
