08:44 pm - An interesting way to start the week

I had an interesting way to start the evening. Mom and I nearly got a TV back over Christmas. We should have gotten one then. The 15 year old TV is now dead. The tube is dead on the TV. We still have a TV from College in which half the cable channels are snowy. It could be worst. The TV could have caused a fire. We are TV shopping over the weekend (hopefully Saturday). At least the new TV should look cool, we have some conversations to have. I wonder whether I will have to get DirecTV or Digital Cable because of having an HD set, though. I have Basic cable right now. Should I be prepared to buy more Cable or switch Television providers? I am asking my more technically inclined friends about this.
